G&W Contracting were pleased to be announced as the design & build electrical engineers for Cineworld’s luxury brand trial of The Screening Rooms in Cheltenham, 18 months after the successful completion of the main 11 screen Cineworld cinema, next door.
The brief to G&W Contracting was to cover the following elements:
- Main switch gear
- Fire alarms
- Central battery emergency lighting
- Lighting and power
- Data installation
- Projection and sound systems
Situated at The Brewery in Cheltenham and unlike the cinema next door, The Screening Rooms comes complete with a chic bar, table service and spacious comfortable leather chairs, with screens seating up to 40 film fans each.
There are 3 screens, a deluxe bar, with an at seat waiter service. This offers a more intermate, refined & comfortable experience, catering for customers that are over 18 years old.
G&W delivered the design and build of the electrical services to all these areas and were pleased to be involved with this project.
