Our Ethos
Since its incorporation in 2010 G&W Contracting have grown into a successful building services company and is a member of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) and the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC). At G&W, we pride ourselves in building sustainable partnerships with principle contractors and clients alike. We will advise clients on energy use and conservation, aiming to minimise environmental impact and reduce carbon footprints.
It is our aim to provide a flexible pro-active approach to each project. We encourage our engineers to keep an open mind about design details, work closely with the project team and discuss and develop workable solutions. G&W acknowledge that the systematic care for health & safety is an essential part of the efficient functioning of all organisations. Part of the G&W ethos is to treat staff and suppliers fairly, as the reciprocal improvement in effort and loyalty greatly assists in our commitment to the end-user satisfaction.

Safety in Design and Installation
All engineering systems designed or installed by G&W are to be installed and maintained safely. As designers we are part of the professional design team and are obliged to comply with the requirements of the CDM regulations, including the preparation of designers’ risk assessments.
In preparing the design for building services, we have a duty to consider and reduce hazards and risks arising from the construction and maintenance of those installations and to make it easier for us and our sub-contractors to devise safe systems of work.
Any special precautions required, due to non-standard or unusual situations will be highlighted in the risk assessments. G&W employs an in-house NEBOSH qualified health & safety manager to oversee and advise on all RAMs issues.
